WATT ARE YOU DOING TO MY HOME?
Wednesday, June 11, 2003

The well-thought-out finishes and furnishings of your residential project will certainly go unnoticed if the illumination of the home is flawed. What are the most effective techniques, luminaires, and practices for lighting the home?

This very special program will be a true 'conversation' between three talented and opinionated professionals. They will be discussing pre-selected photographs (culled from over 200 appropriate images) of effective lighting techniques they have used on their successful and award winning projects for kitchens, baths, and living spaces, including coves, countertops, artwork and walls. It is amazing that each Lighting Designer would have addressed a task differently, yet all would have been right, and all would have respected the others' choices! There is an honest, comfortable chemistry and respect between the presenters (Renee Cooley, Connie Jensen, and Gary Novasel) that is very exciting and entertaining. A question and answer period will follow the prepared presentation. There will also be a great handout of application details and pointers for the attendees to take home with them.

Speakers:
Renée Cooley of Cooley Monato Studio, New York City
Connie Jensen of Lighting Professionals, Inc., Montvale, N.J.
Gary Novasel of Patdo Light Studio, New York City
Moderator: Todd Rosencrans of Jet Pak, New York City

Location: New York School of Interior Design, 170 E. 70 th St. (Between Lexington & Third Ave.)
